SUPPORTING NEWCOMER MLLS IN THE HETEROGENEOUS CLASSROOM – (PART 1 OF 2)

Discover high-leverage scaffolds for differentiating curriculum and instruction so they are more accessible to Newcomer MLL students. We unpack an entirely scaffolded lesson over the course of two workshop sessions to look more closely at the varied strategies for providing Newcomer MLLs with the access points they need to participate in the lesson and reach the same objectives as their peers.

NOTE: This workshop is geared towards Humanities teachers only. The two Supporting Newcomer MLLs workshops work only as a series. Interested educators must register for both.
